Medallion 1:
1) Christ: Nativity -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, reclines on mattress in front of Christ Child, cross-nimbed, in swaddling clothes, in manger before ox and ass. Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, wearing pointed cap, sits on bench.
Medallion 2:
2) Shepherds: Annunciation -- Angel, nimbed, carrying scroll in left hand, flies above two shepherds, one seated, one standing, each with pedum, flanking group of sheep on hillock.
Scenes against gold backgrounds inside medallions set on diapered grounds within decorated frame.
