Miniature, vignette, right: Christ: Parable, Wise and Foolish Virgins -- Among five Foolish Virgins (some with only heads visible), the foremost extending lit lamp toward group of four Wise Virgins (some with only heads visible), the foremost wearing ermine-trimmed garment and with left hand holding down-turned lamp and with right hand raised issuing scroll inscribed DATE NOBIS DE OLEO UESTRO QUIA LAMPADES. Scene in hilly landscape with trees and flock of sheep, buildings in distance. Miniature at beginning of Collect on the Feast of Vincent of Saragossa (01.22). Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberry.
