John Baptist: Beheading -- Salome, preceded by another figure, takes head of John Baptist from executioner, holding head of John Baptist in right hand and sword, at neck of John Baptist, in left hand. Beheaded John Baptist, sits, arms crossed, in arched window of tower.
Scene is set in gold background within decorated initial D.
Left border contains letters D, O, N written in gold. Each letter is initial beginning a verse.
SC IOHANNES is written in gold letters in lower border of decorated frame.
