1) and 2) Christ: Betrayal and Arrest -- 1) Four men, including soldier and two blacks grimacing, all armed with axe, club, spear and buckler, and halberd and buckler, stand as witness.
2) Judas embraces Christ, cross-nimbed, in white garment, with book in left hand, flanked by black man, wearing headgear, raising lantern, and man with left hand grasping Him and raising club in right hand.
3) Judas: hanged -- Judas, with knife in stomach from which entrails spill out, hangs from tree.
4) Pilate: washing Hands -- Servant with left hand holds towel and with right hand pours from pitcher above extended hands of Pilate above basin; architectural setting.
Scenes 1 and 4 with gold diapered and punched backgrounds, and scenes 2 and 3 with blue backgrounds, within decorated frames.
