Two scenes within miniature:
1) Archangel Michael: Legend of Runaway Bull -- Within walled city surrounded by water, bishop, wearing miter and vestments, kneels before Archangel Michael, holding cross-staff and sword ( Legend of Runaway Bull, Bishop informed, or commanding Bishop of Siponto).
Outside city, on hill, archer aims bow and arrow at bull, standing at top of hill. Second arrow returns toward archer. Three men, including one with walking stick, look on.
2) Archangel Michael: Legend of Pregnant Woman -- To right, woman holding nude infant is seated amid waters. Beyond is island with monastery of Mont-S.-Michel.
Below, group of men, including two with walking sticks, walk toward city gate.
