Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, her hands crossed on breast, is seated looking toward open book on lap. Archangel Gabriel, raising right hand and holding fleur-de-lis staff in left hand, kneels before her. Rays descend from upper right.
Miniature enclosed in frame with architectural ornament, including two niches, flanking the scene, in which are nude Eve, right hand covering genitals, holding fruit to mouth with left hand, and nude Adam, right hand at neck, and left hand covering genitals.
