Below a plaque edged in gold with the inscription, PRO OMNIBUS MORTUUS, is an elaborate architectural setting for a cartouche containing a monstrance on an altar resting on a plinth which contains the monogram IHS topped by cross. Above there is a medallion, containing a pelican feeding her three young, amidst garlands of leaves and flowers and gold scrolls. Bunches of grapes hang from pilasters. On either side there are panels, with emblems of the Passion, on arches which give out on a landscape. A quatrain is at the bottom. The frame consists of burnished and dull gold bands.
