Christ: Crucifixion -- Virgin Mary, with rays as nimbus, veiled, with hands crossed on breast, and Evangelist John, nimbed, with joined hands raised, stand and flank Christ, with rays as nimbus, head inclined, wearing short loin cloth and crown of thorns, bleeding from wounds, affixed with three nails to tau cross with titulus inscribed INIR. On road in background is Joseph of Arimathea, carrying ladder. In distance are horseman outside city of Jerusalem, and landscape with bridge, buildings, and mountain.
