Medallion 1:
1) Magi: Adoration -- Two youngest magi, crowned, stand with eldest magus, without crown, kneeling and holding out dish with gold objects, possibly coins, toward Christ Child, crossed nimbus, right hand raised in blessing, seated on lap of Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, seated on bench.
Medallion 2:
2) Christ: Presentation -- Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, holding basket with doves, stands with female figure behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, steadying Christ Child, crossed nimbus, standing on altar before Simeon, nimbed, draped hands extended to receive the Child.
Scenes against gold backgrounds inside medallions set on diapered grounds within decorated frame.
