Two scenes in continuous narrative:
1) Divina Commedia, Inferno: Scene, Punishment of Usurers -- Virgil gestures with right hand to Geryon, as monster with human head and scorpion tail, perched atop rock. In foreground stands Dante, wearing hat, gesturing with right hand to group of nude souls of usurers, seated at base of the rock, each wearing moneybag around his neck. Three of the bags have heraldric ornament, with arms of Gianfigliazzi of Florence (yellow with a blue lion); Ubriacchi of Florence (red with a white goose); and Scrovegni of Padua (white with a blue sow).
2) Divina Commedia, Inferno: Scene, Geryon -- Dante, wearing hat, clings to Virgil, both seated astride Geryon, in river. Below are faces of souls (?) in opening in rock or riverbank.
