Psalm 039 (Vulg., 038) -- 1) In initial D decorated with geometric and foliate ornament, the crowned David kneels before a draped altar, raises his left hand toward his mouth. He looks toward the head of Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, emerging from clouds.
2) Margins - Rectilinear bars decorated with interlace and foliage, enclosing two heraldic shields, including Moreuil (one), and heads of a woman wearing headdress, a man wearing hat, a man, and a bishop wearing miter, and inhabited by three birds, one hybrid man, and three hybrid animals.
