Virgin Mary: Infancy, Instruction -- Anna, nimbed and veiled with wimple, is seated on draped bench indicating with right hand open book on her lap. Virgin Mary, nimbed, as child, extends left hand to the book and writes in it with right hand.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including viola and inhabited by bird.
