David: in Prayer -- With harp at his side, David, crowned, wearing ermine mantle, with pouch tied around waist, kneels with joined hands raised toward God, decorated crossed nimbus, bearded, appearing in arc of heaven, right hand raised in blessing and left hand holding tripartite globe. Scene set in landscape with rocky out-croppings, river with swan, and hills surmounted by city.
