Confessio Amantis: Scene, Meeting of Demophon, son of Theseus, and Phyllis and Scene, Phyllis hanged -- At left, Phyllis, crowned, wearing fur lined gown touches with left hand right shoulder of Demephon, crowned, wearing fur lined tunic, extending left hand toward her. Three figures stand behind them, including woman, wearing turban type headdress, holding train of gown, woman wearing turban type of headdress with jewel, and man wearing hat trimmed with fur. At right, represented a second time, Phyllis, crowned, wearing fur lined gown, hangs from tree with rope around her neck.
