Innocents: Massacre -- Herod the Great, wearing hat-like crown, sits astride horse and witnesses scene of soldier transfixing with sword the head of a swaddled infant, bleeding, held in arms of kneeling woman, wearing turban-like headdress. In background is castle.
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament. In lower margin is helmeted soldier, seated astride horse, with saber raised in right hand and in left hand shield (escutcheon) with arms of Sivry (barry of twelve argent and azure an estoile or).
