Dorothy, rays as nimbus, holding basket containing flowers (?) with draped right hand and flowering branch with left hand, stands before turf bench, flanked by two trees against decorated background.
Blue heads appear above arch inside frame of miniature.
Margins decorated with border of gold rinceaux inhabited by satyr, holding with right hand, shield decorated with face, and club in left hand, turning back looking toward vine terminating with animal head; hybrid man with tail of vine scroll; man astride fantastic animal, holding with left hand shield decorated with face and raising scimitar with right hand. Gold geometric ornament at each corner of miniature.
