Wilgefortis of Portugal: Scene, Martyrdom -- Wilgefortis, rayed nimbus, crowned, bearded, is tied with three ropes to cross. At left, king, possibly father of Wilgefortis, crowned, holding scepter with left hand, looks up toward her; two other men are with him, one, wearing hat, looking at the king, touching the king's left arm with his left hand. Above the cross, God, nimbed (?), right hand extended in blessing, holding tripartite globe with left hand, emerges from arc of Heaven.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
