Roman de la Rose: Scene, Venus capturing Castle -- Two veiled women, possibly Personifications, follow male Personification of Danger, wearing hood, holding club with left hand, all holding keys and departing from flaming crenellated castle with towers at left, two looking back (Venus not present).
Scene against gold background within pink and blue frame of miniature decorated with foliate tendrils on two sides.
Above miniature, rubric caption of scene, CO(M)ME UENUS EMBRASA TOUT LE CHASTEL.
