In decorated initial C is cross-surmounted escutcheon with arms of Jean Coeur (azure, three hearts gules, on a fesse or three escallops argent).
Top, left, and bottom margins are decorated with floreate borders. In lower margin is cross-surmounted escutcheon with arms of Jean Coeur, surmounted by scroll with inscription MORIR CO(VIENT) SOVENT ADVI(ENT ET N)EN SOVI(ENT). Surrounding escutcheon are three skeletons, touching shield.
In top margin is fantastic animal and scroll with inscription IOIE.
