Ambrose of Milan: Scene, Baptizing -- Ambrose of Milan, nimbed, wearing miter, standing with deacon, tonsured, holding crozier, raises vessel in left hand to baptize two male figures, nude, in font, hands joined in prayer.
Scene against patterned background in barbed quatrefoil.
In lower margin (bas-de-page), lion and bear, facing one another, are tied with leashes to foliate ornament.
In margins, foliate extensions inhabited by birds.
