Left margin:
Panel enclosing bird with outspread wings perched on foliage resting on base atop human head (mask); soldier, wearing helmet, holding lance with both hands, astride bridled rearing horse; mask as base of vase in which is foliage.
Lower margin:
Two soldiers, one backturned, astride bridled horses, on hill above scene of feast of Testaccio including horsemen with lances, many bannered, and figures with spears, within and without large circle formed of figures holding spears. All surrounded by wall in background, with crenellated towers, next to which are buildings, and pyramid.
