1) Apocalypse: Seal I, White Horse -- John, name inscribed SCS IOH(ANNE)S, pearled nimbus, holds staff in right hand and raises left hand. He is addressed by Beast (angel), labeled UNUS DE Q(UA)TUOR ANIMALIB(US), pearled nimbus, emerging from clouds, and holding inscribed scroll in left hand. With right hand, he indicates rider, wearing pointed hat, with quiver of arrows suspended from saddle, and armed with bow and arrow, he is mounted on bridled white horse, labeled EQUUS ALBUS.

2) Apocalypse: Seal II, Red Horse -- John, pearled nimbus, holds staff in left hand and raises right hand toward winged Beast (lion), pearled nimbus, labeled S(E)C(UN)D(U)M ANIMAL, emerging from clouds and holding inscribed scroll. Rider, wearing pointed hat, is mounted on bridled spotted (dappled) red horse, labeled EQUUS RUFFUS, holds reins with left hand, and holds sword in right hand.
