Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, is seated on throne with canopy. She holds round object with right hand, and with left hand supports Christ Child, rays as cross nimbus, body partially draped, extending arms and looking toward woman, donor, kneeling before them with joined hands. She wears cross on cord around her neck, and garment with heraldry of Madeleine Du Puy (or a lion rampant azure crowned, tongued and clawed gules). John Baptist, nimbed, stands behind her, his right hand at her right shoulder. He wears animal skin garment, holding with left hand book on which sits lamb.
