Miniature:
Pietro de Crescenzi: Livre des Prouffis Champestres et Ruraux, Book II -- Beside building, Pietro de Crescenzi, pointing with right hand, converses with another man. To right, laborer, seated on bench, grafts branches to tree trunk. Two laborers plant tree. One fills in dirt with spade as the other holds trunk. Fourth laborer, holding trunk of tree in left hand, pats down dirt around base of tree with foot. Beyond archway of building, fifth laborer grasps trunk of tree in both hands.
Margins:
Foliate border frames miniature and text. Lower border inhabited by hybrid woman, wearing hat, playing horn.
