Upper half: Adam: Creation -- At left, Christ-Logos, crossed nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, grasping with other hand, raised right hand of Adam, nude, kneeling on ground. From chapters 1 and 2 of Genesis. Eve: Creation -- Christ-Logos, crossed nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, grasping with left hand, left arm of Eve, emerging from right side of Adam, nude, supporting head with left hand, semi-reclining on rocky outcrop. From chapter 2 of Genesis. Adam and Eve: commanded by God -- At right, Eve, raising right hand, and Adam, raising right hand, looking up toward Christ-Logos, crossed nimbus, grasping left hand of Adam with right hand, and indicating with left hand.
