Evangelist, John: Conversion of Aristodemus -- Evangelist John, nimbed, holds right hand in blessing over cup in which is dragon. Scroll next to John is inscribed SI MORTIFERUM QUID BIBERINT NON EOS NOCEBIT MARC(US) XVI (Mark, 16:18). Two men, eyes shut, one wearing hat, recline on ground before him. At right, stand Aristodemus, wearing tall ermine hat and ermine lined garment, holding scepter with left hand, and three other men wearing hats.
