Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Gabriel, decorated nimbus, with joined hands, holds scroll inscribed AUE MARIA GRACIA PLENA D(OMI)N(U)S TECUM (Luke 1:28, variant), and looks toward Virgin Mary, decorated nimbus, hands raised, kneeling at draped prie-dieu on which is open book, looking back over right shoulder at Gabriel. Dove, flying toward Mary, descends amid rays from God as half-figure, crossed nimbus, hands extended, emerging from flaming arc of Heaven at upper left.
Rectilinear frame enclosing text and miniature decorated with foliate, and vining floreate, ornament.
