Christ: Nativity -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, with joined hands, kneeling, looks down toward nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus, on ground or hem of her garment. Joseph the Carpenter, seated (?), extends right hand toward the Christ Child. Scene is under roof of open structure with wattle fence.
Miniature carried out in grisaille, with painted details.
Margins decorated with border of foliate ornament in grisaille.
