Christ: Betrayal and Arrest and Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus -- Judas, nimbed, his right hand on right arm of Christ, kisses right cheek of Christ, crossed nimbus, His head turned toward Judas, His right hand touching right ear of Malchus on ground in front of Him. At left, Apostle Peter, nimbed, grasps sheathed sword with both hands. At right are six soldiers, four, only tops of helmets visible, three holding spears, one grasping left shoulder of Christ, and the foremost grasping with left hand hilt of sword worn at waist.
Scene in landscape with trees, rocky outcrops, and city or castle in background, all below blue sky with gold stars.
Margins decorated with border of foliate ornament and rinceaux.
