Monk, probably Franciscan, tonsured, wearing brown habit and knotted cincture, kneels with joined hands raised, looking up toward half-figure of Christ, crossed nimbus, right hand raised in blessing, holding tri-partite globe with left hand appearing amid rays in cloud-edged arc of Heaven.
Scene against diaper background. Margins decorated with border of foliate rinceaux inhabited by two butterflies, rabbit, dog wearing collar with bell and looking at the rabbit, and woodpecker (?).
