In upper margin is boar (emblem of Henry VII ?).
Margins with five vignettes in architectural framework (described top to bottom):
1) Christ: Presentation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed (?), stands with joined hands raised before altar. Behind the altar stands Simeon of Jerusalem, holding with draped hands nude infant Christ Child, nimbed. Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, witnesses scene.
2) Agatha of Catania, nimbed (?), stands and holds breast (?) in pincers in right hand and martyr's palm in left hand.
3) Apollonia of Alexandria, nimbed, stands and holds tooth in pincers with right hand and open book in left hand.
4) Valentine of Rome (?), wearing bishops miter and vestments, stands holding crozier in left hand.
5) Month, Occupation: February -- Man, wearing hat, sitting on bench, extends hands and feet toward fire on andirons in fireplace. Behind him man carries firewood.
