Miniature divided into two compartments.
1) Christ: Deposition -- Joseph of Arimathea supports body of Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing long loincloth, blood issuing from wounds, descending from bloody cross with titulus. Nicodemus, wearing hat, removes one of four nails on cross from Christ's foot with pincers.
2) Christ: Entombment -- Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus place shrouded body of Christ, cross-nimbed, in sarcophagus.
