Initial S:
Christ: Presentation -- Within initial S decorated with dragon, female attendant, wearing wimpled veil, and Prophetess Anna holding candle in left hand and basket with doves in right hand, stand behind Virgin Mary extending her hands toward Christ Child, pearled crossed nimbus, standing on altar, reaching toward her. Simeon, wearing cap, extends his draped hands toward Him.
Margins:
1) Decoration of birds, crown, foliage and interlace throughout.
2) Man, wearing hat, with auger drilling head of bearded man grasping branches.
3) Scene, Sports and Games: Falconry -- Man wearing hooded garment, holding bag in right hand and raising left, stands behind woman with hands extended toward duck flying below hawk. Another woman holds duck in her left hand, and with her right hand extends jesses toward hawk, behind which is duck in water.
4) Fable: Fox as Preacher -- Three geese stand before standing fox, wearing hood, in which are three geese, holding staff in left paw, raising his right paw toward the other geese.
