In center medallion:
God, Hand -- Hand of God, pointing upward, emanating rays that divide the medallion into twelve segments, numbered with Roman numerals. All enclosed in frame inscribed IC WACHT DIE URE DAT COMENSEL DIE HEEREN IC EN WEET NIET HOE NEER(sic). Flanking the medallion are birds perched on plants.
Above medallion is inscribed IHESUS, and below is inscribed MARIA, both amid pen flourishing, and enclosed by frame.
In lower margin:
Bird: Pelican in her Piety -- Pelican turns her head to wound in breast, from which blood drips to three young in nest. Extending from the nest and encircling the pelican is scroll inscribed [CHRISTUS] DIE WAERACHTIGHE PELLICAEN HEEST ONS VERLOST. Margins with pen flourishing and foliate ornament.
