Christ: Circumcision -- Mohel, wearing fur trimmed hat, is seated holding knife to penis of Christ Child, rays as nimbus, seated on his lap. Youth stands at left holding tray on which is small pitcher. Crowd of men and women surround the Mohel.
Border of foliate scroll around two sides of the miniature with escutcheon decorated with heraldry of Guillaume Lallemant (gules a chevron or between three roses argent centered or).
Initial P enclosing bird; initial L enclosing viola.
