1) Roman de la Rose: Covetousness -- Below rod over which two garments are draped, woman, representing Personification of Covetousness, name inscribed COUUOITISE in rubric, sits on bench, extends right hand to goblet on chest and holds moneybag with left hand beside another chest containing coins.

2) Roman de la Rose: Avarice -- Below rod over which vair mantle and garment are draped, Personification of Avarice, name inscribed AUARICE in rubric, wearing wimpled-veil and ragged garment with patches, holds moneybag and sits on bench.
