Margin, upper: Personification of Virtue, Humility, inscribed HUMILITE, is represented by veiled woman, with right hand extended and with left hand at breast, standing in room with three arched windows, decorative wall and tiled floor. Arched vignette within block border of floreate decoration. Margin, lower: Month, Occupation: February -- Man, wearing hat, seated on chair beside footstool, extends hands toward fire in hooded fireplace with pothook and andirons. At left, female attendant, wearing headdress and apron, hand, and at right male attendant, wearing hat, holding shovel (?) in left hand, both extend their hands toward the fire (warming). Scene in room with light streaming through arched window and tiled fireplace hearth and floor. Medallion vignette within block border of floreate decoration, including thistles. Block border at right margin of floreate and foliate decoration, including currants.
