Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, rays as nimbus, crowned with thorns, with eyes closed and inclined head, in loin cloth, is affixed with three nails to cross surmouned by titulus INRI.
At left is Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, swooning and supported by Evangelist John, nimbed, and woman, wearing headdress. Behind them is second woman, veiled, with hands raised.
At right are three men, wearing hats. One has scimitar hanging over shoulder and left hand raised.
Landscape with buildings in background.
In illusionistic border are instruments of Passion, including scourges, chalice, crown of thorns, three nails, spear, and sponge. In the border are also pelican feeding three young with its own blood, violas, and moth.
