1) Month, Occupation: March -- Of two men, both wearing hats, one, with his tunic tucked under girdle, holds pruning hook in right hand and small tree with left hand; the other is digging with hoe in ground. Scene is within landscape with background of gold filigree on blue.
2) Zodiac Sign: Aries -- Ram standing in grassy landscape with rocky outcrops and tree with background of gold filigree on red.
Margins decorated with border of foliate ornament inhabited by dragon, two birds, angel, and head of man wearing hood, possibly fool.
