1) Roman de la Rose: Avarice -- Beside chest in which are objects, and tree, Personification of Avarice, name inscribed AUARICE in rubric, wearing kerchief-veil, holds moneybag in right hand and stands next to garment draped over rod. Figure against gold background within frame.
