Virgin Mary: Death; Virgin Mary: Assumption; and Virgin Mary: giving Girdle to Thomas -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, with hands crossed on her abdomen and eyes closed, lays on bier. Around her are eleven nimbed apostles, some gesturing or holding books, and two youths, kneeling at her head and at her feet. In background is Apostle Thomas, kneeling hands raised toward Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, emanating rays, holding girdle (belt) in both hands, seated on clouds with feet on cherubim, in mandorla supported by four nimbed angels. Landscape in distant background.
