Miniature:
David, crowned, playing psaltery, is seated on throne decorated with architectural canopy with lintel and pediment supported by two columns.
Vignette:
1) Half-figure of prophet (?) wearing hat, indicating with right hand book held in left hand.
2) David: Spoiling of Goliath -- Half-figure of youthful David, nimbed, holding scimitar with right hand and grasping with left hand hair of Goliath. Scene flanked by two rampant lions.
Margins decorated with three intersecting arrows, and with border of floreate ornament inhabited by putti, one holding sword and small round shield (buckler); winged putti heads; camaïeu mask supporting vase of foliage; head of seraph with six wings; fish.
