Christ: Bewailing -- Holy woman, veiled, Virgin Mary, veiled, and Mary Magdalen, veiled, arms outstretched, kneel beside body of Christ, wounds visible, reclining on ground, wearing short loin cloth, hands crossed. Evangelist John stands to right. All are nimbed.
In background is hill of Golgotha surmounted with three crosses. Thieves are affixed to two of them. Figures traverse road leading to top of hill.
Scene framed by border decorated with foliate ornament and bird motifs.
