Roman de la Rose: Covetousness -- Woman as covetousness, raising left hand, extends right hand to vessels, including vase and goblet in open chest (coffer) with strapping visible on front. She is seated on bench below rod on which hang two garments or pieces of cloth. Crenellated wall with open portal is at left.
