Job: with Wive and Job: with Friends Three (?) -- Job, nimbed, nude, his body covered with sores, seated on dung heap, with right hand gestures and looks toward group of five men. His wife, veiled, her head inclined and resting on her left hand, stands behind him.
Scene within initial U decorated with foliate ornament inhabited by head of man.
Margin:
Gold balls, vine decorated with balls and inhabited by man raising right hand and holding branch with left hand, and foliate ornament terminating in foliate medallion enclosing man embracing rock or mound.
Beginning of Job.
