Virgin Mary: Death -- Above, two angels lift napkin holding personified soul of nimbed Virgin Mary, wearing tunic, hands joined in prayer. Christ, cross-nimbed, seated, holding book in left hand, places crown on head of soul of Virgin Mary.
Below, two groups of apostles, decorated nimbi, including Apostle Paul and another apostle, each clasping hands, flank Apostle Peter, tonsured, decorated nimbus, extending hands toward reclining Virgin Mary, decorated nimbus, veiled, eyes closed, lying on draped bed.
Scene is set in gold background and enclosed in architectural setting composed of trefoil arch, surmounted by building structures and two turrets.
