David: communicating with God -- David, wearing ermine-lined mantle, kneels on one knee with hands extended. Beside him on ground are scepter, crown, and harp, in bag. Above is God, wearing hat, with right hand raised and holding cross-surmounted globe in left hand, in heaven ringed with clouds. Scene in landscape with low wall with gate, and castle with moat and two men on bridge. Distant landscape with buildings.
