Christ: before Pilate -- Pilate, wearing hat and vair-lined mantle with vair-lined collar, sits with legs crossed on bench, raising right hand toward Christ, pearled crossed nimbus, standing with wrists crossed, presented by three men, one wearing winged headgear.
Scene against gold background within initial D with ornament of foliage; spandrels decorated with diapered ornament.
Margins decorated with rectilinear foliate extensions and sprigs of foliage.
In upper margin, hybrid man as musician, blowing trumpet and striking tabor, forming part of foliate extension on which dog pursues rabbit
In right margin, pair of birds perching on sprigs of foliage, hybrid bird, and heraldic escutcheon of Gobaud (gules, two bars or, in chief three besants).
In bottom margin, stag recumbent on ground, pursued by dog, seated ape looking at mirror before male musician blowing horn, two running hounds, bird, and hybrid animal; heraldic escutcheon of du Bois, variant (or, two bars and a canton gules).
In left margin, rabbit and heraldic escutcheon of Tuchet (ermine, a chevron gules).
