Apostles Simon and Jude, both nimbed, stand in landscape. Simon (?), holds scimitar in right hand and open book in draped left hand. Jude (?), holds object in right hand and book with two clasps in left hand. Above, rays emanate from center of arch at top of miniature.
Margins with foliate and ivy-rinceaux ornament.
