Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, sits on throne and holds open book with pseudo-inscriptions on her lap. She is flanked on either side by twenty (?) nimbed angels, (some with only nimbi visible), one, winged, with folded arms, and one with joined hands raised. Scene set against gold background with tiled floor.
